Your Privacy Choices

Last updated: May 26, 2026

One page, two switches

We use Google Analytics to measure how the site is performing and Google Ads to measure which marketing campaigns produce real bookings. Both are off by default. Use the toggles below to turn them on or off. Your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months and applies across musicyaa.com and the MusicYaa app.

1. Current Choice

This is what we have recorded for your browser right now:

2. Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that as an opt-out from "sale" or "sharing" of personal information regardless of what you set below. Browsers that ship GPC by default include Brave and DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser. The Privacy Badger extension for Firefox and Chrome also enables it.

GPC detected in your browser: checking…

When GPC is on, the toggles below have no effect — opt-outs are forced. To use the toggles, disable GPC in your browser settings.

3. Manage Preferences

Toggle each category below to change your choice. Changes take effect immediately — no save button to click.

Google Analytics measurement

Aggregate page views, navigation paths, and engagement metrics so we can see what's working and what isn't. No personal information is shared with Google.

Google Ads advertising measurement

Measure which of our paid marketing campaigns produced your booking, so we invest in the channels that reach people who want what we offer. Considered "sharing" under California's CPRA.

4. What Each Choice Means

Strictly necessary (always on)

These cannot be toggled off because without them the Service cannot operate:

  • Authentication session cookie (Cognito) — keeps you signed in
  • Stripe.js cookies — tokenize payment cards in your browser before they reach our servers
  • The musicyaa_consent_v1 cookie that stores the choice on this page
  • First-party page-view counter sent to our own infrastructure (no third party involved)

Google Analytics measurement

When on, we set Google's _ga and _gid cookies and send pseudonymous identifiers, page paths, and referrers to Google Analytics 4 for aggregate measurement. We do not share email, phone, payment, or booking details with Google for this purpose. Retention: 14 months.

Google Ads advertising measurement

When on, we set Google's _gcl_au and _gcl_aw cookies and report conversion events (e.g., "user submitted a booking") back to Google Ads so we can measure which advertising campaigns produced bookings. The California CPRA categorizes this as "sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising." Retention: 90 days.

Other rights

Beyond cookie choices, you have additional privacy rights under California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other state laws — including access, deletion, correction, and portability. See Section 6 of the Privacy Policy for the full list and how to exercise them.

5. Questions or Other Requests

If you have questions about this page or want to exercise a privacy right not covered by the toggles above, email privacy@musicyaa.com from the address associated with your MusicYaa account.
